    Hey guys!

I bought a kit from “anytime back up camera” and getting ready to instal it. However, I bought the kit without the camera so that I can buy the best aftermarket cam if possible. A lot of people have gotten the Natika from Amazon but trying to see if there is other options in comparison. I have a 2020 grille (pic bellow) so if you have any input or suggestions where have you installed it, would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying not to drilled the grille IF possible. Post pictures of your front camera for ideas!

Give it time someone will answer you, usually after dinner time and you will get all kinds of answers. The Natkia is a great camera as I have this planned as my next mod. I like the one where you can use the steering wheels controls to toggle which camera you want.

I thought about that kit as well but the only downside is that you cannot have the camera On all the time, I believe after 30sec it will go back to your original radio setting. With the switch, you have full control over your camera.

Yeah, Natika camera is pretty popular. I wonder if anyone had any problems or known issues with it.

I put mine right under the T emblem on the grill. You can cut a slot with a dremmel to mount it on the backside of the plastic at the bottom of the grill emblem. About the only place to put it centered, unless you buy the the OR grill that has the camera mount already in it. I think that one is above the grill emblem.

I would suggest you wire it up first and make sure it works and then move it around to get the picture you want. I used the ABC with the ABC camera and had a Nakita camera, the $39.99 one, but could not get it to work with the ABC connector for some reason. In my case I think the Nakita Camera i got is bad because the ABC camera works fine.

Yeah, I gashed my grill, so watch out for that...

I started browsing around and found out that Taco Garage sales a plug and play bracket for the 2020 Tacoma. Not sure if he is a member here to ask couple questions etc.

That looks like it would work and $15 aint bad. No cuts either. One thing, notice the orientation of the camera with it is upside down from how I have mine, so if you go that route definitely wire it up first to ensure you cut or don't cut the wires so your image will be correct when mounted.

Another thing I just realized is that my grille has the camera mount screw holes where the camera should mount. I started to follow some harness around and there is a connector with wires and a cover that goes nowhere, is right behind where the camera should go. I’m wondering if my model Tacoma was pre-equipped with the option(?) I wonder if someone with a 2020 TRD Sport can post pictures of the camera harness and where does it connect too behind the grille. I also noticed more pre-wires harnesses that connects to nothing...weird. Below are some pics I took.

    More wires that goes nowhere.

I’ve had mine for over a year. No issues at all. You can toggle between front and rear camera’s as well. Install is pretty easy as well.
