If I understand correctly, the primary light emitters are still 4000K and 6000K. So you could buy a selective yellow light, swap a clear optic into it for a 4000K "warm white".

The backlight (small LEDs) will still be yellow/amber. But I do presume that if you swap to a clear optic, the backlight yellow will not be as "deep" as when it had a selective yellow optic.

The primary light is what I am wondering about.

Good catch! I was definitely only answering the backlight question.
Okay, so the actual LED emitter on the amber SSC2 is a 4000k unit. With the amber lens the color temperture is driven further down to the 3000k-ish color temperature area. If you were to swap the amber lens out to a clear lens (on a light that was originally amber) you would be left with a color temperature of 4000k. Hope that all makes sense!

W.T.F. Even right now? Was having some issues with it before, and thought I had it ironed out.

I'm losing it... Can you screenshot what you're looking at showing things as unavailable and PM or text it to me? I can't replicate it, but I have heard of issues. I thought I had it figured out. Would be really unfortunate if I was the only one NOT experiencing issues here.

    I figured it out.

If you got to your page and click SAE Fog, but change it to Amber LED. The Back light does NOT automatically change to amber. It stays on white. Which is not an option as you know so it shows out of stock. Move the back light selection to Amber and it's all good.

    Just bought 2 from you.

I figured it out. If you choose amber you have to also choose the same backlighting color otherwise it comes up as unavailable. It doesn’t automatically pick the only option
