Just wrapped up an install of 2.5 inch lift with new SPC arms.

I went with option D on the settings and left the lower control arms in the original spots.

It feels like I have more than enough caster like this, it tracks really well.
I'm thinking I might reduce the caster 1 degree and increase my tire clearance.
Is tracking a good gauge of caster?
Can I jack up the front end to where the tires are just touching and loosen the adjustment nut and move the ball joint to E setting?

I have an alignment schedule for next week

tracking, if you mean steady steering and stable on-center feel at the steering wheel, would most likely indicate good caster at whatever speed you're assessing. but it's always all the things. lower caster numbers while traveling at highway speeds will make you work harder to keep it pointed and keep your on-center feel which would be coming & going quite a bit on typical roads at those speeds.

if you like the feel of it, the next question before you dial back the caster is, "do you have any clearance compromises?" if not, no reason to change, unless you prefer lower caster because you do a lot of lower speed maneuvering. if you're crawling around rocks and trails at lower speeds, lower caster may help the steering feel more positive and direct.
