Was waiting on window/lock button trim paint to dry and got extremely bored. Chrome deleted one of my Chinese knobs with plastidip to see what it would look like.. should I do the rest or take it off?

Hit all the black plastic and door handles with some Mothers Back to Black. Windshield cowling, running boards, mirrors, tailgate cap and bed rail caps.

    Those look awesome!

Used that paint on the Prerunner armour, mounting arms and crashbar extensions and its holding up great after a year in the NE.

    Yup, sounds about right.

That sounds terribly expensive to power coat. That might be their “go away” price. I opted to raptor line my winch mount. Painted the inside by hand and raptor line rattle canned the face

And installed it today. Winch coming soon

How has your experience with Mother’s Back to Black been in the short run? I’ve used it in the past and it just comes off by the next rain or wash. I got tired of having to reapply after those situations

Do you like your tires? I’m thinking going with the Michelin’s and trashing the BFG’s.

That's not been my experience. But, I do also use 303 Protectant periodically during warmer months as well, so it's never really super faded. Before winter, I'll usually use the Mothers. I'll probably hit it one more time with the 303.

Gotcha, I must’ve just gotten a bad bottle of it. The 303 I’ve been enjoying lately, so really relying on that to protect my plastics from getting worse at least

I've observed that on the faded plastic, the Mothers initially restores the black better than the 303. A couple treatments for really faded plastic works well. The 303 then works better to keep it looking better longer. 1....2 punch!

Replaced rear axle seal and new shoes on the rear end, cleaned out the breather to since they like to get dirty just to be safe

No complaints about them. Great road tires with a m/s + snowflake rating. I plan on upgrading to 33" tall skinny KO2's or coopers once I install my lift. Unless you use the truck exclusively for commuting i'd keep the BFG's.

Spent the day pulling the drive shaft in order to replace a leaking output seal, all of the u-joints, and the center bearing. I've been living with constant vibration so I knew the center bearing was toast. What I didn't know was that one of the u-joint caps was broken and another one completely devoid of any grease at all. Was glad to finally get all the parts and tools together to do the job. Took me about 6 hours or so.

My truck is a 2007 Prerunner DC with 171,797 miles on it.
