Ouch.. Make sure the insulation gets bone dry as it can get musty real easy...

I really wish there was a rubber carpet for the 3rd gen...

I miss being able to hose out my Ford Ranger then just shop vac out the water that does not drain out and sometimes didn't bother with the vacuum just air dry.... (I had used cosmoline on the floorboards)...

A lot of the same reasoning went behind my Whaler decision. Just attempting to sink the thing was akin to washing the inside...

I considered doing just that but figured I'd go deaf from road noise on a daily driver...

Len I figured I could Line x then put on the sound deadening but then I still have that fuzzy fooking carpet to deal with to replace or it will look like ass inside with just the sound deadening...

I wonder if you can plastidip carpet....

Heat isn't the solution, just air movement.

Been on a few flood restoration jobs and just moving the air helps it dry faster. Heat can actually make it mouldy apparently.

You have a battery tender at the cottage? Set the truck's blower to feet position and crank the fan speed to max :)

Battery tender is just one of those intelligent chargers that can be plugged in for months at a time to keep the battery topped off but not overcharge it.
