So its on the other side?

Here its the owners problem after the meter. I constantly have problems with water pressure. We live on the lower part of a big hill. The people at the top complained about low water pressure so they pump it up the hill at who knows how hI PSI. Last week I noticed the water screaming when my wife flushed the toilet, I checked at the front of the house and it was at 135 PSI. Luckily I was able to adjust the pressure regulator and get it down to 60 PSI.

I have had to replace the regulator 5 or 6 times and have a new one on standby. The water co. Doesn't give a crap about doing anything about it.

Pretty much. Last year we came home to a gusher at the street. As I was shutting the water off a DWP truck showed up. The 1"PVC had snapped after the meter. The first thing he said was "The homeowner is responsible after the meter".

He did provide me with a heavy duty gray PVC coupler to fix it. He knew about the high pressure and said lots of the neighbors had the same problem.

As soon as I turned on the water I checked the pressure and my meter was pegged at 250 PSI (As high as it gets). Its high enough that even the heavy duty regulators only last a few years. I got a couple extras when Lows had returns with missing parts I didn't need for 50% off the $180 price.

I have since installed secondary regulators at the entrance to the house and for the sprinkler system with separate ball valves.

    Evening all,

Long week getting the Museum ready to open all the things we've not done since March is now on us before opening on Friday.. Probably won't have much traffic with cruises and tourist stuff shut down, Mikey Rat or Dismal World at a minimum, Space Center reduced hours and not traffic for chit!!

    We'll see how it goes..

    Y'all have a good evening..

Cooper St Maxx 255/80/17 I am right at 60k miles and no issues it is getting time to replace them though. Same size as the 255/85/16 just for a 17" wheel. I am using them on first gen Tundra aluminum wheels. They have been great in any condition I have put them in. I may try a diferent Cooper but just out of curiosity "0" complaints

I like them. I'm running those on the Jeep and the next less aggressive Cooper on the Tacoma. Both are doing great for wear. I do need to have the tires on the Jeep rotated and balanced though. Thinking I'll have the same model that are on the Tacoma put on the wife's ZR-2.
