    I’ll agree on not going to the dealer.

    It will be interesting to see why the drivers door will not unlock.
    Is it related to the aftermarket alarm? Who knows.
    Me, being me, I’d see if it has a 20A door lock fuse.
    Pull it, and see if it lets you unlock door.

    Why?

    I’m guessing that it doesn’t have factory keyless entry and somebody flintstoned some actuators into the doors.

    Probably so, after the amount of “aftermarket” alarm issues that pop up here, I wouldn’t consider anything other than OEM.

    I mean, a simple door lock issue has made starting a truck a headache.
    I’ll pass on aftermarket systems.

    The key thing to aftermarket alarms and remote starts is quality components installed by someone that knows what they’re doing. I have an aftermarket alarm that uses the factory keyless entry with a factory type switchblade key. I had it installed by my installer buddy with a few choices I requested, and then not having the starter disable hooked up.
