    Tacoma World,

We are in search of an individual or group of individuals who understands the Toyota factory ECU's programming logic to aid us in reprogramming the factory ECU for boost. We are working on a project that will bring a compressive, whipple supercharger package to market for the 2TR-FE engine platform. Presently, we are in the final stages of the prototype but we are having difficulty fully understanding the ECU's programming logic for the VVT-I system and we are in search of an individual aid us in completing the tune for this project that takes advantage of the VVT-i system under boost. It is our belief that we can use the factory ECU for boost without the need of a piggyback device or an aftermarket ECU.

Tacoma World, can you recommend an individual or group of individuals who can aid us in the tune for this package please?

    Best regards,
    Nate

    Hey legends
    So I’ve got a 2008 TGN16r - 2tr-fe (that’s wat it is in Australia anyway)
So the ECU can be tuned? I want to put extractors and run a better exhaust system and was looking at ussing a simulator for the 2nd o2 sensor (apparently they don’t like the two cats been removed)
    Any help be greatly appreciated

As far as I've heard only heard the gen 2.7 has had the ECU cracked. But that is as of may, 3rd gen not tuneable yet I believe.
