I watched that this weekend. I wish he would have also spoken about the difference between ethanol and non-ethanol gas. While it is true that there are no performance benefits to using 93 octane in a engine that is tuned for 87 octane, it is always better to go with non-ethanol over gas that contains ethanol. Even if it means running a higher octane that what your bike calls for.

Here is a great video regarding Slime vs its competitors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5DWhIF1c0M

Project Farm has some of the best unbiased reviews on Youtube. I love his format as well. Straight and to the point.

How did they arrive? I’ve never had a pair of boots that you stick anything outside of like you have in the first pic. Unless things have changed, it should tuck like the 2nd pic

That's what made sense to me too, but then I was like well maybe it's to prevent wear on the transition. But cool, thanks guys. It's been a while since I owned dirt boots lol.

Took a cue from Blockhead and skipped the usual box cutter! Couple few goodies....S&S mini teardrop air cleaner, FP3, swing arm bag, and Cobra 909 shorty’s. Damn pipes were packed with so much paper, didn’t wanna fuss with it. Now I gotta install all this stuff!:D And unfortunately, wife knows what Revzilla and J&P cycle is now. :ballchain:

David @fatfurious2 did an awesome job fabbing up this bracket to hold my ignition coil as there isn't an aftermarket solution out there.

    Went from this:
    sJ111_3711.jpg
    to this:

    IMG_2990.jpg IMG_2989.jpg IMG_2992.jpg

Next is an acetone bath and a fresh coat of paint. Then new spark plug wires (also a pain because they used different coil end terminals on the plug wires for my model and the manufacturer does not sell them to the general public) and an ignition relocate, and this portion of the project will be finished. The @Minimag95 wiring mod is next - eliminating the deutsch connectors and extra 2 feet of wiring so that I can tuck them under the tank along the frame.

    Thanks David!
