That would work... but could you sub mustard for mayo? We like it *our way*.

All kinds of options here with optical beams. You could tie this to a momentary switch and relay for ditch lights or other ‘flash mode’ lighting.

That’s my intent with the second side of my Meso shifter.

Given the cost in time these require I am not sure the market would bare the extra costs....but the idea is good. I'll look into a timer. If I implement it I'll give ya a substantial discount on a new model

I agree. That's why I am open to custom harnesses if anyone has a requirement. Depending on sourcing for connectors to keep things plug and play friendly I'm all for it!

I also helped test this and still have it installed on my vehicle.

I was skeptic at first but always willing to help test something new. Now I'm a believer in the product.

It is certainly an outside of the box solution, but it works! I never found myself sitting there stomping my foot up and down hoping my ect would turn on. After I get out of my neighborhood and am accelerating towards the main road just a little toe tap and ECT is enabled.

Yeah it's not a button, but why does it have to be? Works awesome and I recommend it for anyone looking for an easy on ECT mod or a switch slot they need to free up

I have the MESO shifter ECT mod. It’s plug and play. I’m assuming this could go inline with that no problems?

Yes, my harness has both male/female connections and would play nice with the OEM ECT PWR button -OR- the Meso shifter. If you want to retain BOTH possible buttons then I could add an additional pigtail connector so they all are inline together. Just PM me if you want to order or want something special and I'll give you a good price.

To add to that, I had mine inline with a splitter to get illumination for my cb light, so I had daisy chained 2 adapters together. Later I combined them into a single adapter though.

Sorry for the unneeded alert SPAM then. I was going off this, clearly I misinterpreted:

I'm sorry I misinterpreted your multiple postings, I was scanning for comments of interest and I see what I did here...
23881588 - I use ECT every time I get in the truck. Not really interested in a new way of activating though
23881916 - Interesting! Be cool to see what comes of this.

I misunderstood. You really don't want or see a need for this. This item really isn't interesting to you and you could care less what comes if it.

I was more interested in how the product development played out. Not the actual utility of the product. I already have the meso knob. Enjoy the free bumps though!
