New to Tacoma’s. I have a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 double cab 5 ft bed in need of some much needed opinions for upgrades. I live in Colorado primary use is driving to work, camping, I have 2 dogs that I don’t want in the cab of the truck. What kind of tires for snow? How big can I go without rubbing and without a lift for now? What kind of truck toppers can anyone recommend? Are softtopper’s worth a look? What exhaust sounds the best? Suspension lift recommendations for future reference?

If your Taco was built around April or later, you will need a third party transmission cooler. Toyota in its “let’s screw the customer campaign” decided not to install one any longer. Oh and by the way they won’t warranty it if you install a third party cooler

My rig is a readylift 3inch with bilstein coilovers, and KO2 285/75/17's. Let me tell you these shocks are definitely worth the extra cost, and BF goodrich has pretty replicable tires.IMG_7546.HEIC.jpg

I agree that a transmission cooler is an upgrade.
But what in his question leads you to believe he needs a third party transmission cooler? Asking for a friend, of course.

You have a Readylift on top of the Bilstein Coilovers? Or the Readylift on top of the stock Coilovers? Pics of the shock tower please.

Why that route? Why not just 6112's on a certain clip to get the lift? So that's on the highest clip plus a spacer? Wow never seen that before.

Says spacer only provides an additional 0.5" lift. I think Readylift is trying to be true (for once) to their advertising.
2.5" of lift from the coilovers. And 0.5" for a total of 3" from the spacer.

Because the 6112's on the highest clip only yield 2-2.5'' of lift, the spacer gets you the extra bit of lift.

You plan on gutting your pro's fox setup from the start, lol.

Hello was just curious as I haven't seen anything that was actually stand up from crappy Readylift.

I know bud, just giving you a hard time. Yep, them and RevTek were the rulers of the hockey puck lift.

Did you do something to those 4 runner wheels to make them shiny or am I seeing things?
