Well I did it. I see some hammering in my near future. Wanted to wait and see how much I needed to do. Will take better photos later EBE764EF-A490-4335-B24E-757B7D3700CD.jpg8F8A84E4-6C0B-4202-830A-88B2EEB339B1.jpg

Yeah I’ll have to trim a bit more off soon. I’m planning on getting a new bumper soon.

Sorry to ask this question when it might be answered already. Is there no way I can fit 35s without a different UCA? I’ve been looking into changing my tires from 285s to 315 or 305s. I know ima get a lot of hate here but my rims are 20x9 +10 offset tires are 285/55r20 (it was a steal of a deal so I jumped on it). I have 1.25in spacers that I can put on to clear the UCA. I wanna jump up to 315/60r20 with the OEM UCA if possible. If not I’ll settle for the 305/55r20 till I can get the right upgrades

Don’t see why you couldn’t. But for that wheel offset you will definitely need the 1.25 wheel spacer regardless if the UCA is stock or aftermarket.

yea even right now I had to put a 1/4in spacer just to clear the UCA when the tires move up. Thanks for the reply

Just stuffed 35s with a 2.5 inch lift. Lots and lots of hammering and cutting...

That is one of the best looking tacos I've seen. Great color contrast.

What's the general consensus on backspace to fit 35s ??? With a 12" width

Can you clear the UCA with 4" back space on 8" rims

I’m running 315/75/16 tires (12.4” width) on 16x8 wheels with 4” BS. I only rub the UCA just slightly at full lock in reverse with the tire that’s turned in. I highly suspect this is only because I have boxed UCAs instead of tubular UCAs.

In other words, you should be fine.

I have the exact same setup and issue. I’m on JBAs. I bet I could grind some material off the JBAs. But might just get a 1/4 wheel spacer at some point.

Mine is so minor that as long as I back off about an eighth of a turn on the steering wheel it stops. Not enough for me to worry about and I’m sure it’ll go away as the lugs wear down just a bit.

Does it get worse when the suspension travels upwards, i.e. when on non-level ground and/or over a bump? I don't have 35's (I have 33's), but I would be sad if my tires rubbed at all during daily driving.
