This is the exact lathe I have. Not my dream lathe, but it works well.

    What is your dream lathe?

Additionally, I bought a Nova Chuck many years ago for my Delta lathe, would that work on this lathe?

Right now we’ve been 1.3 trusses per day. So about 10ish hours per truss. That’s with 2 of us so about 20-25 man hours per truss

This was a fun fence I did together with my son. The use of stainless steel accents added a different touch.

That’s because nowadays, good hunks of burly and figured wood are largely turned into veneers sheets because you can get a lot more$$.

Since figured and burled wood are rare in the first place it has become even rarer to find a good quality slab and because you can get such a premium for it, it mostly becomes veneers. That looks like quite the find.

Thanks friend, as I said, it was a fun project. And of course working with your son doubles the pleasure.
