Alright bros, I finally got my new rims and tires installed from American tire depot. They look great but here is the problem. There is a ticking sound that is coming from the tire whenever I'm driving. It gets louder when I go faster. any thoughts on what this could be?

I totally would let her drive however she is a little Filipino girl and her legs would not reach the pedals lol. She has a hard enough time reaching in her 20' Corolla.

You too man! Did you ever figure out your rubbing issue? Going out wheeling in 2 weeks and was hoping to not have any issues.

i took it back to the shop this morning and come to find out that one of the weights was hitting the caliper. it was hitting on the edge of the weight so i didn't see it last night when i was looking for it. they fixed it and no more noise...

it took me a while to figure out how i want it but things just fell into place as soon as i ordered the wheels 2 months ago and went with the Falken Wildpeaks. next is the suspension at the end of the month.

Glad it worked out. You doing a full 3” lift? I wanted to do that, but worried about the tire/wheel set up looking too small.

i thought about that also, but 2.5 adjustable on the front and 1.5 AAL in the rear should be good. that should take care of the rub that i have now.

I have not figured it out yet. I never had any issues either before I installed the JBA UCA's. This next weekend I will be in Big Bear and I will try to recreate the rubbing I was hearing. I also could not find any signs in the wheel well or on the tire where the rubbing occurred. I am sure it is not that big of a deal but I would just like to know because all the research I have done has lead me to believe that the 265/75R16's do not rub which I now know they do. So I will report back if I and when I find something up at Big Bear.

Quite a few things at this point..
I wonder if it's rubbing against something else than your well. Like maybe the new UCAs altered something else. I initially had a tiny bit of rubbing on my driver's side with these tires, but removing my mud flaps fixed that. If you don't have flaps, I feel like something else might getting rubbed against.

When you guys go with the 265/75s, are you changing out the spare as well? I'm struggling with putting a new tire on a steel rim that will never get used. Thoughts?
