I had the Fenix, and it’s a great outdoor watch, only drawback is it’s VERY bulky, and the heart rate sensor SUCKS, super inaccurate. I got rid of the Fenix and got an Apple Watch because I use the fitness features a lot more than the outdoor stuff.

I had an apple watch for years until I dropped it and broke the screen. Wasn't gonna buy a new one as I'm debating switching to android. I like the look of the instinct though. Maybe I'll order it and see how I like it then return it if I end up not liking it

Man, I really wish they had the Solar Surf Edition of the Garmin Instinct at that $150 price point. I'd buy it instantly.

I’ve had the instinct for over a year and it’s held up great. I’m a welder technician and wear it every day, the sparks and continuous smashes against the machines haven’t broken the screen or effected any functions. I recommend it.
