    EDIT: yes, sorry, I have an AT not MT - surprised that actually makes a difference in the fob.

    You got me curious so I opened mine up and from the dealership it has a 2016 in it

    And looking at mlr69’s profile he has an automatic so his is different

    A 2032 and a 2016 are both 20mm in diameter, as is a 2025. All are 3v batteries. The difference is the thickness.

    Being thicker would equate to having a higher MAH rating which when you think about how much more power an automatic key needs with the push button start it makes since
