Cut it off at the box where it’s inserted? Weld up a new one? I have lots of leftover hardware; is there a nut that I use on the inside? Thanks

The purpose of that little block, I’ve heard, is to prevent objects from flying into the suspension components.

If it's in the way, remove it. If it doesn't interfer, leave it. I think mine has one side and the other, my buddy stripped so it was never installed

I don’t have an aftermarket bumper but I removed mines for the viper cut. More of an aesthetic thing for me. I got 2”x3” plastic caps to cover the holes. I remember seeing someone selling metal ones for like $40.
These are the ones I got.

    Up to you:
    1. Keep it as-is.
    2. Unbolt and remove the stub. Get 1/2" or M12 nuts and bolts from the hardware store to secure the SSO bumper to the frame. (Might be something in the leftover hardware you can use.)
    3. Flip the stub around so it fits completely in the frame. This way so you can re-use the welded nut in the stub.

I hope this does not make me come off stupid . Could I hide the crash bars wo cutting them off by installing high lift brackets and putting the high lift in front of my truck ? Anyone ever do this before ? Would their be any dangers in doing this ? Again, this is prob a stupid question so rather ask first
