No prob. That's what I meant, more of a light hoop that follows the grill.

Looks wicked!! I'm going to do mine like that too....(been planning on doing it for 4 years now). You've inspired me to get on mine again soon!

Are you going to take all of those pieces of cardboard and trace them onto metal, cut them out, tack it, and then welded it? Or just fiberglass a cover up??
(I was planning on doing the metal way)

Definitely metal, I just needed to make sure I like the shape. and I do!
I'll pull them off and make sure the dimensions are all the same, and then yes, put them onto some steel and get to work!

Too bad we don't have the same truck. I'd get you to cut two of everything and ship it to me. ;)
    Looks perfect man.
Couple tow hooks with the D links hanging off of them. (So reinforce those areas)
    Powder coating it?
    Fog light holes?
    Licence plate holes?

You have to keep us posted! My dealership would flat out turn me down, like they did with every problem I had.

haha once you get started with the cardboard it's easier than you'd think.

Good call on the D rings, not sure how I'll reinforce that area...

I'm going to try and get away with having the license plate on the lower part... so just a few holes there.

and definitely some fog light hole's!

I'll just paint it myself, I'll use the compressor and paint gun and do a good job of it.

Put the recovery points as close to the frame rails as possible to minimize the force and leverage.

damn dude. that truck is only a year old!!!! If the stealer tells you its the lift, take it off and take the truck to another stealership and see what they can do. thats the only thing I can think of. That or get a hold of Toyota Corporate. there are tons of us on here with the same lift as you and to my knowledge, haven't had many...if any troubles definitely keep us posted. I am curious to see what happens
