Sorry to quote this almost a year later...

Does your '92 have a 4-lug or 5-lug bolt pattern?

@PennSilverTaco Speaking of wheels, any diameter wheel over 17" doesn't look right on a Fox Mustang.

A couple weeks ago I came across a 1-owner 1990 LX hatchback 4-cylinder/automatic with only 52K original miles; The guy paid like $10,900 for it new, and it was LOADED (for a 4-banger Mustang anyway)...

He said that acceleration was rather leisurely with an automatic and only four cylinders, and downright slow with the A/C on!

Luckily I've never seen a Fox rolling 20s..

I saw a Wrangler TJ with like 20" or 22" wheels though! Totally de-Jeepified it in my opinion!

I think that's who the 2.3L/auto Mustang was designed for; Was she hot?

Is it easy to install cruise control in a base model RC? My steering wheel has the little plate where a cruise control stalk could be added, and I can see the outline of a “CRUISE” light on the instrument cluster.

Is it “plug and play” like the intermittent wipers?

I installed cruise on mine but I had to buy a new spiral cable, cruise stalk and run a wire from the steering wheel to the ECM (I also added steering wheel buttons for the radio). I have a 2012 base model.

How hard is this to do, and is there a risk of accidentally deploying the airbag?

I have developed a serious obsession with 1984-1995 Dodge Caravans and Plymouth Voyagers in recent months; When I was a kid, they were EVERYWHERE! My aunt and uncle who live here on the East Coast had a 1986 Plymouth Voyager LE from 1986 to 1997, which was replaced by a 1997 Plymouth Voyager SE with the "Rallye" trim package. My other aunt and uncle in California had a 1994 Dodge Grand Caravan LE that they bought brand new; They owned that van for ten years and a staggering 180K miles, finally selling it 2004 when the A/C compressor went, and replacing it with a new Honda Element...

These vans had their share of problems over the years, but were ultimately reliable and held up well. Not one of them ever failed an emissions test, and the 1997 Plymouth did not die; Rather, it was traded for a new 2009 RAV4 with something like 160K miles, under the "Cash for Clunkers" program...

Usually they sell a complete kit. Installing anything electrical always disconnect the battery and there shouldn't be any risk of setting off the airbag
