My Tacoma has lots of scratches. Big dings. Dents. But it still driving me places. Gives it character. I just wish they offered leather seats back in 2010. My cloth seats have been through hell throughout the years. 3 different dogs smell absorb into it and has been really hard to get the smell out.

I highly recommend Clazzios. They look super sharp and really upgrade the interior in my opinion. I had a black set in my truck and they were my favorite mod along with my heat rejection tint.

Thank you for that. I am looking at them now and it looks like a great way to go. I bought some corbeau seats for the front about a week ago and they called me and told me that it was backed ordered for 4 weeks. So I cancelled it. I will probably go with Clazzios.

Generally speaking, when buying used a credit union has the lowest rates. Good luck.

I will warn you that the install took me 6 hours with two people (but I also got the heated seats and had to wire those in) and it's best if you remove the seats from the vehicle to do them. But it's a doable project on your own. Just watch youtube videos ahead of time.

Sometime Toyota Financial will do 0% APR for a special on new vehicles. But like Steelcity said, Credit Union is usually the lowest for buying used.

Were you fortunate enough, or did you deliberately work hard enough?

    Same crap everyone else got
As echoed before, if buying used, a credit union will traditionally have the lowest rates. They also do alot of refi promos so it may be best to contact your CU and ask what promos they have coming up. Then finance at the dealer ship and refi at the credit union as most refi promo's will get you a lower rate than just starting your loan with them.
When I got my truck, I paid half in cash and financed the other half b/c I never had an auto loan before so I wanted auto loan history on my credit in case I ever needed to finance a vehicle in the future it would be easier to get approved and have a good rate. Even people with 800 scores but not auto loan and limited credit will be required to find a strong cosigner for loans most times.
With the other half of my funds I didn't use for the car, I found a 12 month CD that paid a similar rate to my Used vehicle loan to offset the interest. Kept the auto loan for the life of the CD then paid it off when the CD matured.

Just food for thought in off setting loan interest. Not as good of advice right now as returns on no risk money is very low but so are auto rates.

Bought my 2015 2 1/2 years ago with no trade-in or down payment. Made double payments etc. and paid off the 5 year loan in 2 years. I'm retired so from their reputation for lasting forever it just may be the last vehicle I ever own! Actually I'd like to get a 4 Runner and a Tundra also.

I was looking to buy a new truck, but I think my wife will need a new car before me. I was looking to put a big down and finance a little bit left... but sucks there will be a lien on it. I know I will get a letter from bank that is paid off. I went to the DMV to get a new title stating it is paid off back in 2011, they wanted me to pay $100 or $200 for it, i was like f that! I am not giving them more $$. So i have to keep this letter around until i sell it so there will be no hiccup on my selling/buying transaction.

Just made my last payment this month. Almost 200k and she’s starting to ask for some attention... but she definitely deserves it at this point!
