When it was announced, I felt the same. NASCAR was able to add an RC, which fans wanted and Bruton kept his race date. I was not aware that the RC had been used by other series for over 40 years. Now that we have COTA and Road America on the schedule, I like the Roval as a hybrid event. It’s also the only RC Cup event within driving distance for me. I SUREEeEeEeE wish they’d take that second Atlanta date and move it to Road Atlanta.

I liked the idea at first, but I'm over it now. Excited to see other road courses though. Just wish they'd tone down the aero sensitivity and bring back HP. Yes, the racing is closer, but it isn't necessarily better. Especially when drivers can rarely move more than 3 or 4 spots without assistance from lapped traffic or pit stops.

I can't wait to see how the Cup cars do at Road America. It's like all of the sim racing series I've run online are finally coming to fruition.

It's possible, but probably not likely. Not with anyone competitive anyway. I thought SHR at first, but they also have Chase Briscoe too.

Still shocked they're not simmering down and letting the 24, 48, and 88 have a few years off before putting new drivers in. Especially since they still have the 5 and 25 on lease to my knowledge.

I was crowd/fence guard at NHMS years back, got pieces of Biffles car, as they hit me when he wrecked.

Are they going to reverse their woke decisions like the NBA or am I sitting out next season too?

NASCAR been walking back the woke narrative since the noose incident.

Last few races haven't seen much plugging of Wallace.

The guy in front of me at Talladega had a battle flag hanky in his pocket. He pulled it out, waved, cursed, and pointed at Bubba 188 times. Sucks to have so much hate in his heart. I don't think he enjoyed a moment of the race. Them colors might not run but they sure do hide in a pocket real quick when security walked by.

My racing buddy, whose mom used to work for Darlington and whose great uncle led the Southern 500 parade and invocation for every Southern 500 through 2019 has been writing some great racing-related content for a new local digital pub. He recently embarked on a cross-country trip visiting dirt racks and local food joints. It's an enjoyable read. We reunited at Talladega and are making plans for 2021.

I drove by Crisp Co. Speedway a few days ago. I *should* be able to make it down for the January date next year. Planning to hit up Hartwell, Lavonia, Tri-County, Winder-Barrow, and Dixie. Though, looking at the map I'm closer to Atlanta Speedway than I am Dixie Speedway. My neighbor runs in the Historic Dirt series. Won the championship last season. Each weekend, if he's not fishing, he's racing.

My .02 on the flag situation is basically who tf cares. I mean... yeah it was retarded to alienate a huge chunk of what's left of your fanbase but I watch racing for racing... not southern pride... or any other social justice.

I feel this way in every sport I watch. Leave the cultural shit for your personal life... I wanna watch sports.
