Not to be a dick but if $22 is a “ton of cash for an exhaust tip” how do you afford a brand new truck. Or since it’s “ONLY” $22 if you want a black exhaust tip I’d say go for it. Personally I’d buy the OEM one.

OP, yes I did get that brand exhaust tip for my truck. I've had it since spring, still looks good. Only problem is the fit is extremely tight and I was only able to get one of the mounting screws in. Its held tight so far, if it someday comes loose oh well only 20$, but I didn't want to spend the extra coin for the OEM.

OEM tips are 409 stainless, it will pit over time. That $22 tip is 304 stainless, which is better than stock. Go for it.

Guess I could have worded it differently as I can see how it come across that way, 22 bucks is not a ton of cash, but it sure beats 80-100 bucks. Really meant for it to come across as asking if this was decent product or would I be better off with another one.

Thanks! Just out of curiosity, did you notice an altered sound as they claim?

Didn't really notice any significant altered sound. I mostly did it for the "look". I'd say go for it :spending:

OP I have the stainless steel version of this. It actually doesn't fit the stock exhaust easily, but after some wrangling, I got it to fit (couldnt get the 3 placement bolts to fit, only 2, due to the diameter of the stock exhaust). Long story short, it looks nice for a low price, and I did notice a difference in sound, a bit more throaty. I have videos, I could post at some time.
