When using my original remote, my drivers door will not unlock using the remote, all others doors work just fine to unlock, using the key works to unlock the door. Also doors will not lock with the remote, but they will unlock. 1 out of 20 times it will actually unlock the doors. Would this be the actuator? Anyone experience this also?

Do the lock/unlock buttons on door ALWAYS work?

How old is your battery, is it a good brand, and are the posts & clamps clean?

That's an actuator getting too weak to move your linkage.

I believe it is the actuator too. When I lock the doors with the main switch while sitting in the truck the drivers door barely moves. Thanks for all the info and link.

oh yeah classic symptom. Both my rear doors started going out around the same time. My passenger front was next and it got worse when it was colder out. Driver door is now doing the same, easy fix, 3 or 4 beer job at most.

Hood Struts, My version Fogs always ON, Map & Overhead Light Mod,
No voltage to driver's side lock actuator? Door will lock, but not unlock.
