Shit man you need to go to a wing place. They are like a staple in this part of the world for parties, bars, the local chinese and mexican resturants. You also oughta make your way around the South and taste the different BBQ from the TX brisquit, AL white sauce, SC mustard based, NC eastern and western, TN, and KY. Word of advice don't pick a favorite wars have been started over BBQ. BBQ is a dish here in the South and not a get together or device to cook on. You'll have a lot to learn being from Aussie land. My cousin's husband has all sorts of trouble he's a Kiwi.

This is normally the part where one of the other dudes in here knows I'm always messing around. I've had wings, but haven't had any for a long time right now.

I also lived in Huntsville/Madison and went to high school there, so I'm pretty cultured when it comes to knowing that SC BBQ is the best you can get!!! It all comes down to the fixins, and the quality of the mac n cheese and the cobbler. My kids still live in HSV now too.

But funny enough, wings weren't a popular thing growing up in Australia, but drumsticks were. My mom would make trays of them. I guess that's why we're all so huge in Australia cause we get more meat per intake. hahaha

In the summer of 2000 I was back in HSV for about 6 months. Anyone else remember Bobby G's Place on south parkway? I know it's gone now.

On Tuesdays I think it was they had 25c wings and $5 pitchers. Damn, I could eat 40 wings and 2 pitchers back then, and that was also 60LBS ago...
