What do you run them on? I just bought a 1/12 budget basher and wanted to see what weird stuff I can do to it.

just a couple of things tbh
i had them on a traxxas 4tec 2.0 its a fun car and a very fast car but hitting cracks in the road is hard on it plus if i run the brushless setup i dont need the hard plastic wheels i can run the foams and slide around easily

Any good places to goof off around out here? I have a car I picked up on ebay years ago that needs some abuse.

Heh yeah, I was trying to get into it with a buddy where I used to live and then he had twins, and I moved.

Looks like there's a track over here off 40, but is currently closed because covid.

Fast Lane is an RC track in Blue Springs. I'll be there tomorrow with my neighbor and his kid. But I'm just getting into the RC car world, I've only had drones and planes for the last 6 years.

I really want a good outdoor track on public land. There is a mountain bike pump track at Stocksdale Park in Liberty that would be killer if it were cleaned up and smoothed.

I'm not getting into racing. I read the classes and tech rules and that sort of highly limited minmaxing for one specific event isn't my thing. I'm just going to have a basher of anything worth having that China makes a cheap copy of.

    I can print/mill/turn any parts I can't buy easily and I don't baby anything I own.

I'm doing a build of one of these right now https://www.banggood.com/Feiyue-FY0...21.html?rmmds=myorder&ID=223&cur_warehouse=CN

I've driven it for about 30 cycles of the stock size battery and I'm super happy with it. It's amazingly fun for the price. I'm putting in a massively oversized brushless system and some 3s batteries to see what breaks first and go from there. The Chinese stuff goes toe to toe with the big boys for the most part.

i actually got rid of the cantilever setup and put a proper front end on mine but i never use the thing because its battery is so small it dies quick and its not really built to crawl its built to bounce and i dont have much of that around here to challenge it fully

There is an almost identical one by another company that's 1/10 scale. I'm eyeballing it, but I want a Rustler clone and a crawler first. I have a 1/18 on the way that I'm pumped about too lol
