Just curious what type of tires you all are running for that Colorado clay mud. It’s sticks to everything.

After many weeks of back and forth with Toytec, and between Toytec and ARB, ARB is going to warranty my springs. Toytec has said they would let me pay the difference between the springs I bought and something else if I want to that instead of putting in new ARBs. Their site lists (extra $180) and a (+$80)brand springs as other options. Does anyone have any experience with these, and how they would compare to my busted OME springs?

Looks like they also have Deavers for Tundras, but not Tacomas, for an extra $250ish. Would it be worth my time to see if they can get Deavers for a Tacoma?

I'm not going full #EAF on this truck, but have full steel skids, sliders, and rear tube bumper with front bumper in the plan. I've been doing 5-6 straight wheeling trips per year, and haul my camping stuff around about that many times from spring through fall. Not doing any regular heavy hauling or towing, and I drive it to work when the weather doesn't let me take the motorcycle.

The best luck I had with leaf springs came from combining factory packs to make a thicker/higher rate pack. Second best was Alcan springs, life expectancy was low to begin with though because of the abuse of rock crawling (87 Toyota on 40s with duals and stuffs..........)

I just installed some icon leaves
No overload in the pack like your ome leafs.
I'd only suggest them for you with the heaviest option, I heard they get wrap under acceleration and decel at the lighter options.
I did a test flex and I can compress to the bump stop no problem. The shock limits the droop.

Some friends and I are heading to Moab this weekend. Anyone have some cool camp sites they're willing to share?

Gonna be my taco, an outback, and a rav 4 TRDOR. So some decent ground clearance but by no means am I trying to drag sliders across an obstacle and expect the pack to follow suit lol

    fucking windy. and smoky.
Parked the camper in the street and the work van in the driveway, hoping the neighbors cottonwood falls on it and buys me a new one.

I kept my original leafs as a backup and could do that. AAL, not 40s and tons, yet.

If I went Icon, I was expecting to go with at least the mid option (leaf replacement) or heavy (leaf addition) per the pics and description on their site. Thanks for adding the link, I'll start looking through that tonight!

I have the stock leaf springs with the Icon 3-leaf progressive AAL with the overload back in there and after a week of the ~350lb camper it's starting to sag a bit.

I may take the 1/4" & 1/8" spacers out of the front that leveled the truck with the AAL combo and bump down a tire size (hah, who ever says that) to keep from rubbing the RokBlox. I'd rather not have sandblasted lower portion of the cab so the mud flaps are staying.
