We’re you able to run it the whole way through? I thought I read somewhere that the bridge at the end was out so you had to out and back Bennet?

I went up Bennett Pass Rd at hwy 35/meadows and came out at 44. I’m not sure of any bridge being out. I only recall one bridge on Bennett and it was in great shape.

I've only had to reseat tires on my buddies Artic Cat 400 utility quad, like every damn trip up to Brown's Camp. Oh, and on a Ford Festiva that I peeled a rim lip back when I hit a sharp root sticking out of the trail about 10 feet after a small jump.

A bit of BFH action to get the wheel lip round again.

On my 85 Toyota XtraCab 4x4 with 33" Buckshots, I would run the fronts around 10-12 lbs, and the rears around 7-9lbs. Truck was so damn light it took a lot to flex those sidewalls.

I think you're confused with Barlow Road. I know a bridge on Barlow is out, but I don't remember there being any bridge on Bennett.

The EGO 18” is the one I’ve been leaning towards. But looking into the Oregon one too now.

Yeah, my choice was mostly because it was the battery I already had for other purposes.

So right now, I could order the 4.0 battery combo deal and the 6.0 battery for $406....

In regards to the next run, I will try and get something going soon. This year has been really bad for me and I have been having a rough time.

I have aired down stock wheels / tires to 15 many times. Sometimes I go to 12. I can feel the difference in the ride between 12 and 15. The change from 15 to 20 is huge. Never had any issues with losing a bead. Worse case I have a spare. I have even driven 5+ miles on road at 12 psi from trail to trail at 50-55 mph. You just have to be careful how you drive. I imagine if you were to swerve hard at low psi you are gonna have a real bad time, especially on pavement. Don't turn hard or fast and you most likely won't have any problems.

Thanks for the info! I plan on taking it easy. I’m going up with some friends and family soon so I think I’ll push the limits a bit more.

No worries on a run man. That’s not on you. Hope things start looking up.

I do NOT recommend this lol. I got uncomfortable just reading it.

Even at 20 psi on pavement 55 mph is sketch. In all seriousness, it's dangerous.

    We gotta keep ya safe!
