Back when Van Pelt and Stuart Scott were really getting into their own groove is when ESPN was fun and a great channel.

Its really fallen off.

 

Bama's Defense.

Welp. Kiffin came out with a bag of tricks and well designed plays to give Alabama fits on defense..


This is nothing new. Kiffin does this well, consistently.

I think he really wanted this. He wanted to be the first assistant to beat Saban and he pulled out all the stops. (Except on defense...)

Luckily, Alabama had enough in the tank on defense to get a couple field goal attempts.

Quite honestly, I think Kiffin's offensive plan was well thought out, but basically mimicked an Auburn offensive attack. The main difference being that Ole Miss didnt have a defense where Auburn seems to suddenly wake up when they play Alabama and play like a National Championship team.

Gus Malzahn pulls out all the stops too, and has had success against Alabama.

I can't say I disagree with it, either. I think the game was much more watchable than a blowout.


Now, ol' Gus is gonna have to pull out some different tricks.

I cant wait til they allow full stands. Ill try my very best to be at the first game at Sanford with a full stadium. That atmosphere will be insane

 

Saban and Alabama AD both have COVID. SEC is gonna shut down now to protect their baby in a year UGA might (MIGHT) beat them.

 

He'll coach from the press box. They can get him some cardboard cut outs of coaches to yell at.

 

I would love to see an assistant carrying around a tablet of Saban screaming from home.

 

Gotta come up with those excuses just in case we pull it off

 

If Kirby wins then Sabans assistant streak is still intact since Saban won't be coaching.
