@Tour991 you got any photos of bare 5 lug frames.
Someone’s trying to build a champ car vehicle out of a Tacoma. Trying to decide if a 4x4 frame or a 5 lug would be easier to cut up for completely different susoensokn

$49 for OEM used Tundra shafts, which is important, because the aftermarket ones cheap out and use tulip inners rather than double CV joints like the OEM. Beats the $350 or more MCM and Camburg charge per shaft.

 

Those will fit in the Tacoma ADD hub? Or are you swapping them out for tundra ones?

 

They fit in the Tacoma add hub and in the Tacoma differential. They just don't fit the Tacoma suspension but I'm going long travel so that won't be a problem

No that's a big chunk of change and I haven't had any time to do things for almost 8 months straight. Figured it would do better in an investment account until I'm ready to actually put the stuff on.

I'm just trying to do the front all at once. It's the one that'll really leave you fucked if you mess up. The rear is a guessing game and I don't have a final front height to guess with just yet haha

 

Are you gonna do dual shocks or nah

 

I have to feel it out first, likely no though. It makes more sense for folks going faster more regularly than I do. Like say for miles of emptiness in the desert, if it was a desert truck I probably would. I'm just going for extra comfort over standard travel arms, I'm not actually struggling with the stock MT amount of travel (unless it's with Kings, cause that's fucked how short those come up).

 

Using the ADS shocks that the MCM kit comes with as well?

 

Yeah, the 8" ADS reservoir coilovers. The FOA offering they have is a joke, their shocks are a joke, viper coils are a joke. Are you laughing yet lol

 

They didn't have the FOA option last time I looked. I thought they only had the ADS or nothing, just the arms and shit.
