    I emailed deaver looking for a custom pack. They couldn’t be bothered to reply, and I’d heard similar stories from others. That was enough to turn me off of them. These were a little cheaper and less of a wait, too.

    Scored a brand new bed mat on Craigslist today. Not something I would have went out and bought new but couldn’t pass up the deal. Will be nice not having my camping gear rearrange itself for me on the trail.

    My SEM matte black paint came in. I lightly sanded the chrome ring for the shifter (still needs some more sanding). I also need to sand/scuff up the gauge trim rings. Would red or green Scotchbrite work? I have both.

    Damn, sorry to hear that. It appears as if it will hold things down pretty well. I keep my work boots in that craftsman box from Lowe’s and that usually slides around and bounces from side to side but on the way home from work and to work it stayed put.
