1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

I could technically go pull the whole bumper one from a local yard I think. Think someone in here recommended I don't since it's a lot of work.

 

eh its not ALOT of work.. but it definitely requires 2 people and some time. port installed is rated the same capacity wise. and it tucks up just about as tight.. you might get an extra 1/2" tighter with the factory installed hitch

 

Yeah I don't have a buddy nearby to help with something like that anymore. And it's not like ground clearance is a major issue on this 2WD daily truck for my brother.

 

ah. just remember. 5k lbs without tow package. 7300 with.


mostly because of the trans cooler.. but also because prewired for brake controller


my non tow package truck now has the tow package rear harness, engine bay body harness, trans cooler is getting installed finally this week. and, well thats it. i dont have the tow package alternator because its getting the sequoia tow package 150 amp alt instead

 

Probably but that's fine I got another job on the line that sent me emails and phone calls twice now wanting me to come work for them.

You don't even work on your own truck

You'd fit right in with most other dealer techs

 

I do work on my own truck I just don't have the time to do a major project like install the LT

 

This feels wrong. Still got more to go but seems like a lot of gap

 

That all bolts on in an afternoon you know? Is filling the washer bottle or flattening a tailgate the max of the time allotted?

 

If you had a minute for every time you said this you'd have built truck

 

One of the most built I'd wager, like downright professional

 

i duno, i make 32 an hour... i think starting pay is like 20 these days

 

There's a bit more to it than that.

I been working 6 days a week for awhile now. Now if this doesn't get through your eyeballs and register into your cougar powered brain. Then I'm sorry idk what else to tell you other than get back on that broke back mountain trail and find more cats to take pictures of.
