    It's really hard to find a clean one of either these days, especially the E36.

    off-topic but... where is a good place to find a not-clean one? I've wanted an e36 M3 or 3-series (or even a 5) for a long time now as a project car. I've seen a few pop up on BaT, but because they're clean, they're expensive. Wouldn't mind finding one in need of some love and elbow grease.

    No idea, not really my market. I've always found the more expensive car up front to be the cheaper car in the long run.

    Probably Craigslist. I think a lot of the E36 got stripped for weight and heavily modded by Fast and Furious guys. Probably best to just pay up for a mid range or clean one.

    It's the high Cruising RPM's and lower than expected fuel economy at highway speeds.

    I'm on 255/80R17 KM2's, with OVtune 2.0 with the 33" tire and 5.29 gear options. I have a 3 piece mobtown skid plate set, and Caliraised sliders. On stock offroad suspension. So I'm carrying a couple hundred pounds of armor and have 33s but I'm not as heavily modified as some guys on here.

    Best I can describe the way it feels is trying to drive on the highway in s3 or s4, it feels like it wants to shift to a higher gear but it doesn't have one.

    I'm going to try installing a speedometer calibration module and see if it's mostly subjective from seeing the wrong numbers on the gauge.

    I should have stated earlier that I also use a scangauge 2 with the gear indicator always up so I'm watching what gear I'm in more than most people.

    It is not uncommon to be in 6th gear by 40(uncorrected for tire size) and anything faster than that is all from increased Cruising rpm.

    255/85/16 on method 701 with 1.25 spacers. Coming close to needing a new set and wondering if I should stick with this tire and size or jump to 285/75/16 Yokohama Mts that are only 2 pounds heavier. However I dont really see the point rather than just looking beefier.

    Recommended wheel width for 235/85 is 6-7.5 according to tire rack. I’m having a hard time finding a wheel I like in those widths. Seems most are 16x8. Any issues running that size?
