    Just adding my 2013 Tacoma to the group with paint issue. Noticed paint fading just about the time the warranty ended. Now completely faded out on roof toward the front. Other Tacoma owners show me theirs have done the same thing. Seems like problem they didn't want to have to fix. The sales persons pitch was in a large part about their special paint.

    I'm sorry about your Taco but it can be prevented. Most people honestly don't wash or wax those hard to reach places. They focus on what you can see and reach easily. Road grim and bird crap will destroy a paint job if not removed not to mention the suns UV beating down on it. I use a four foot ladder to wash and wax mine in those hard to get to places. Almost six years old and still looks like the day I got it.
