That’s awesome! I have the Prinsu but I like the vertical side design of your better.

    Thank you very much @EdinCincinnati

I had a couple versions of the holes drawn up but ended up liking this best. I needed something a little taller where the support rails weren’t mounted at the top of the rack. I opted to make stainless mounting brackets. I’ll post finished photos when I get back from my trip next week.

Since I know it's been keeping everyone up at night....here's an update.

Both are correct for the front driveshaft. The Spicer 5-1310-1X is in the "Spicer Life Series" line, which according to their website: is a "High-Performance Universal Joint for Serious Off-Roaders". So that's what I went with.

I'm happy to report that the zerk in the bearing cap is soooooooooooo much easier to access than the original OEM zerk in the middle of the u-joint.

Interested to see what you make a for a wind deflector, I'm on rev3 with my own DIY rack and am considering going to the conventional setup for the market.

I really want to use plexi without backing in the middle of it so I can run a tucked lightbar.

    Nice!

Mines pretty simple, somewhere between the prinsu and victory, mounting more like a victory. I’m not a fan of the hardware on the front like the prinsu. I made mine a little different shape as to how it sits on the rack.

If you the ability to heat and bend the plex, put a lip at the top under the light bar. That will make it strong enough not to flex under the wind without a brace.

I wanna say you made the right choice. 1310's are likely much more commonly found at Bubba's BFE autohaus in the middle of Nowheresville, US of A, too.

Thats what I thought too and that was not the case. I was having trouble bending anything thicker than 3/16" tho. I think victory uses 1/4" 6061?

Just to clarify, both of those models are 1310's, they're just a different series and design. I don't know if the SPL has more material, or different materials that makes it stronger or what....

Yeah anything larger might take a good amount of heat. I believe victory is all 3/16”, i could be wrong on the faring.

Mine was 1/4" Lexan, I cut 1/8" deep channels in it and formed it DYF brake style. Still have it if you want it, have some Lexan left over too.

I just might, when I was bending 1/4" it kept cracking.

I might route channels in the shit I still have and see what happens, I figured that wouldn't add as much stiffness.

Takes away a little strength but the form makes it stiff

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic within an hour of downtown Cincy?
I need some suspension parts installed(I don't have the tools or space for it, live downtown with no garage/driveway)
