    Side note, the realtor we went with is a retired detective, as we were filling out paper work the other day I was looking at him and he had his shirt tucked in. I thought to myself, he has to have a gun on him somewhere. We got to talking about concealed weapons and I told him I always have mine on, he said I have 2 on me right now :eek:

    He showed me one around his ankle, the other was in his pocket.

    Yes, it's killing us. My wife home schools both of our kids 5 & 8, runs the store while doing it, also sells Norwex and does great with that. I work 8 hours a day in the machine shop and want to continue working here as long as I can. We have no life outside of the store right now.

    Enjoy the time outdoors with them; my kid went hunting with me 2 times and said it wasn't for him. But...he's doing exactly what he wants to do in life so I have absolutely no complaints.

    Sounds like you’re making the right choice for sure, I know you know it, but damn these kids grow up fast!
    I’m sure it’s stressful doing what you’re going through, but you’ll look back and know it was the right decision.
    Good luck!

    My buddy doesn't go anywhere without his 38 special in his pocket, im always amazed you can't even tell. He's the kind of guy you want carrying, licensed and you would never know it, but ready to use it only if necessary.

    I had a 26 and a 27 once, I never could like them. The grips were too thick for me.

    I have an XDs .45 I carried for years then bought a Shield .40 and carried it for a while. I bought a Hellcat 9mm several months ago and haven't carried the XDs or Shield since. I like the Hellcat, it's the same size as the Shield but holds 14.

    I like the double stack of my 19 and 26. I had a shield 9 before and that was easy to conceal but I felt like it was gonna jump out of my hands since it was so slim. I have big hands so it wasnt comfortable to shoot

    I understand, that's why they make so many different guns, because none of us are the same :thumbsup:

    My current carry is a Taurus 38 wheel gun. I like it, just the ammo capacity thing.
    Used to carry a Ruger SR40, too much gun on my thin frame. Couldn't keep my pants up lol! Always printed in nearly every situation and clothing choice, not good. But damn that gun was a shooter and I handled it well!!!
    Had a LC380 once upon a time too. Dog shit awful trigger pull, didn't last long for me. Great carry, though. I got it when 9 and 380 was scarce or expensive as hell, sold it to my friend that like never shoots his guns lol.

    General PSA;
    Train train train! Doesn't matter the weapon, just know how to use it and hit what needs hit!
    Also, get your damn permit people! Those of us that took the time to invest into this, typically don't take it lightly.

    100% I had a permit when I lived in MA, moved to NH back at the end of February and it's constitutional carry and the state police are having a hell of a time trying to keep up with background checks just for gun sales, so I've been waiting on going in to just get my permit for reciprocity. But guns definitely need to be treated in a responsible manner with plenty of training and regular range time
