In the fusion obd2 transmission temp mine always starts out over 100 degrees even in the morning at first start of the day. Is this normal? and if not how do I reset it?

On my 2016 DCLB 6AT, "A/T Oil Temperature No. 1" is the pan fluid temperature, and "A/T Oil Temperature No. 2" is the exit of the torque converter fluid temperature. This interpretation is consistent with what I see when logging during desert hill driving: I see 2 peaking higher especially during times of frequent shifting on varying grade. This is also consistent with what others have reported for which # is which in this thread and others. Hope that helps!

no oil pressure seems crazy. I was looking for that as I build my towing dashboard. A23C9FFC-7F2A-46AA-8685-008ED3D0F2F8.jpg

Can anyone coach me on how to create a map that will show battery voltage? I have tried several but they dont seem to react to alternator voltage input as they never get above 12.x.

Do you have the range set correctly? If your minimum is 100, that might be the issue?

Before I decide do buy the app can anyone confirm if the 19 has pid for oil pressure? Seems like that would be most useful.

There is no need for oil pressure. Toyota engineers decided that you don't need to monitor that. I tried looking too and someone else said it does not exist.

Nice, thanks! I was using one from Engine/Alt Voltage-Non Active Test and it seemed like it was reading 0.2-0.3 volts above my meter at the post.

Ill give this one a try :cheers:

Interesting. I wonder if there's a model year change. Mine just always shows 0

Anybody figure out how to get an update frequency better than 1 second? All my logs seem to update at 3 second intervals even when collecting at high frequency. Same applies to the live data. My gear shift indicator is always 1-3 seconds behind reality.

Is there a particular protocol that is better than others?

I chose the OBDLink MX+ hardware with OBDLink software for these reasons:
    • Active firmware development
    • Secure bluetooth connection and encryption (OpenSSL)
    • PID speed specs
    • Discreet (tucks behind kick panel and firmware allows turning off LED’s)
    • Low power consumption (2ma sleep)
    • No added purchases (OBD Fusion (OBDLink), Toyota extras part of package)
    • Cross platform (IOS, Android, Windows 10)
Thanks to @RushT for sharing his towing dashboard. I tweaked it for my needs.

The bevel around the tach turns red when 4WD (high or low) is on.

His OBD Fusion export imported without issues to the OBDLink package, further verifying the common OBD Fusion/OBDLink software.

It looks pretty good mirrored to my head unit from my iPhone using the Avity kit.

Glad to see the work paying off and of value to others. Are you mirroring wireless, or are you hardwiring your phone somehow? Also, what do you think your polling refresh rate is? On my iPhone 8 with a kiwi 3 I was seeing about 3 second refresh. I upgraded to a 12 and was seeing much faster refreshes until I scanned the full Toyota pid list, which seemed to then slow it down significantly. Back to maybe 2-2.5 seconds. What protocol do you have your OBD link using?
