Hey man, Im not to far from you. I got mine at Cedar Park earlier today

    1. 2020 TRD Off-road 4x4 AT DCSB
    2. MSRP = $40,864
    3. Options: , LED Headlights with LED DRL + Black Bezel, LED fogs, Cargo bedlight, Tacoma blackout, Power Tailgate lock, Step tube
    4. Cost of dealer add ons = NONE
    5. Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate = $37,000
    6. Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP) = 9%
    7. Incentive (rebate/customer cash) = $1000
    8. Price Out The Door (OTD) = $38,080.29
    9. Trade in vehicle(year, make, model, trim) = 2020 2.7L Double Cab Short bed 2wd Tacoma
    10. Kelley blue book trade-in value = 25,807
    11. Trade allowance(amount given for trade) = 25,500
    12. Date purchased: 10/12/2020
    13. State purchased: TX
Pretty happy that I even got it below MSRP. Ive been searching for weeks and they usually sell after a few days, sometimes a few hours.
The one I purchased arrived earlier today, was inspected today and obviously purchased the same day.

I visited a few dealers and one wanted 22k for my trade, one wanted 21k. I purchased the 2020 SR last year for $25,500 and put 12k miles, and they gave me $25,500 for it. So I think I did okay

You did good, I had a deposit on mine for about a month and a half. I took it home the same day it arrived to the dealership. Does yours have the tech package?. Mine had no other add-ons, apart from led headlight upgrade and technology. I bought the following oem add-ons online and installed my self. LED bed lights 80, Tailgate letters 70, black badges 90, power tailgate lock 120, wheel locks OEM 50, oem carpets 90, door sills 70, door edge guards cement 90, toyota gbs upgrade 120. I'm sure I saved quite a bit installing my self. My dealer offered me msrp plus rebate, I requested the deposit back. They immediately dropped the price would not budge any more. I had a 2020 SR5 DCSB 4x4 with tech that I bought at the same dealer back in April, sold it to carvana in August. Other dealers in my area did not even bother to try to find me a cement TRDOR with my desired specs. I did contact Toyota of Cedar Park, they would not budge.

We got our 2020 Cement ORDCLB for $37,888.75 OTD through Costco with direct transfer to dealer. We were very happy with the deal and employ everyone, if possible, to utilize Costco for some honest pricing the dealer has to honor if they are signed up for the program.

so when I finance my tacoma back in 2008, they told me I had to go thru toyota financial services and they dont know shop around for other banks for better rates... it wasn't a horrible rate and i paid it off quick. So was this BS from toyota or next time I should just get a blank loan check from my bank or credit union?

I ordered a 2020 Limited. Took 6 weeks to arrive. I added $1,646 in options.

MSRP (with options and fees but no taxes) - $44,631

    I paid - $41,572

    Discount about 7%

I got prices from 3 dealers within 60 miles. They were all close. Took the one in my town that was low by $300.

if you take the rebate that require to use their standard rate of financing, then you will be required to use TFS. However, if you take the cash rebate, you are free to use any bank for your car loan. i hope it makes sense to you.

2008 was a horrible time for the economy in general and especially for the car market. It is possible that TFS was offering a rate so good that the dealer knew that a bank or credit union could not beat it. There was a lot of 0% interest financing being offered by manufacturers in 2008 and 2009.

I've noticed some dealers padding their MSRP on 2020 models. I also saw a new Sequoia on the road yesterday. I like the Sequoia but I'm always surprised when I see somebody purchase a new one.

I got my Certified TRDOR DCLB less than a month ago with similar numbers BUT mine had 3k miles on it. If I saw your deal in the Bay Area and the truck has the color and specs I want, I'll probably bite.

P.S. I have yet to see 18city/22hwy though and I have been light with the throttle.

Sold: '19 TRD OR - It will always be in my heart.
I didn't know you could add the power tailgate lock aftermarket. Can that be done to any model year Tacoma? What is a Toyota gbs upgrade? Did you mean GPS?

Toyota sells the power tailgate lock separately with a harness, no cutting or splicing. 2016-2021 has the oem variant available, for older trucks you can get a pop-n-lock. GBS stands for Glass break sensor, I also got it at the dealer. It's also plug and play.

I would get a 2021 if you are only getting the rebates.

The Lifetime Power-train warranty only works for that dealership. I would rather get a deeper discount than get that as the package deal. I think it is better get the Toyota backed extended warranty.
