I agree, especially on the OR that has the black fender flares and any black armor and/or wheels.

Of course I'm a little biased.

 

I will say this though. Color matched depending on the style looks pretty damn good. For instance. The frameless side window style really looks awesome and can make the truck look like a suv quick. However, when you're buying used those cool styles aren't generally an option. I think a cap should be totally utilitarian. Hauling anything that doesn't need the extra security or weather protection (even pets) can be done with a softopper just as easily and then you have that added open bed versatility. As soon as you put a cab high cap on a short bed truck, the first time you go to load it up or get in there you'll be like WTF!?

 

I love my softopper, just need to figure out how to reinforce it to hold a RTT

I've had a 2nd gen aluminum softopper bedrack for over a year now, but I haven't tested it on a 3rd gen yet.

It's on my giant list of things to do lol
