I want a Tacoma with a column shifter and a small jump seat in the middle.

Oof, but I feel some may be worth breaking a rule or two:fingerscrossed:. That being said, my pops is much worse. You sit on a towel and before you get in, all things in back pockets along with things clipped to side pockets must be removed. The idea he would allow food in the car is laughable.

Pshhh. I was driving a topless and doorless CJ7 with a missing transmission hump cover in high school. If there was one thing I was, it was distracted. I could eat a burger, drink a soda, shift, and hang my feet out the door. I was not a smart youngster.

Also dropped a nokia phone onto the driveshaft going down the freeway. You'd think they're indestructible, but no, that'll do them in.

Been driving MT since i was a kid. Its just natural to me. I kinda enjoy going thru the gears. And I don't give a damn about my mpgs. If you can't afford gas , buy a bicycle.

Back in the day you had a hot dog in one hand, a beer in the other and you still never missed a shift.

Yea and when your girl sat beside you straddling the shifter... 2nd and 4th gear were sublime.
I still knee steer quite a bit.

When I was shopping for my truck one of the dealers was excited when he asked if I knew how to drive a manual and I said yes...

Today’s MT’s barely qualify with all the fancy synchros. The first car I drove was a ‘62 Ford Futura with three on the tree.

I went into the service and the first rig I was taught to drive was an early ‘50s brush/structural rig. Think WW II deuce and a half with a fire truck body.

That thing had the tranny lever, three speed transfer case, four or six wheel lever and a PTO to run the pump.

If you couldn’t double clutch while reaching through the steering wheel to work the shift and transfer case levers you weren’t going anywhere.

Just when you thought you had mastered the world they stuck you in a runway foamer with ten forward gears and a three speed transfer case plus the 4x6 lever. Took half a day to get up to speed and no one ever got in in tenth high.

75% is the percentage of value that most insurance companies will total a vehicle at. $6,000 is 75% of $8,000 which means that they used the KBB value.
