Ya I guess at that height, makes sense. Cool, thanks. Just always tooling in my head. Your current build is on point too.

Thinking of going this route now as I don't want to spend the money or need 6112s, and with such a small lift, just makes sense. 2 questions, how did you feel ride quality was and any rubbing w/that setup? would like to keep my stealth 6's and mudflaps.

    It's a secret
...It will be absolutely weird and your truck will become the next meme of "what the dick?" and forever become an embarrassment of a truck appearance that everyone in the world will strive to avoid...

That escalated quickly...hahahahaha, I was being sarcastic and joking about that...

The only thing I know i found very weird looking was the camber. If you haven't already you should get adjustable UCA, I run SPC. And have a shop shoot for 0 toe 0 camber and steep caster, mine is at 4.4. Better to find a locally owned alignment shop that can tailor that to what type of road you drive, how crowned they are etc.

A buddy of mine did a 3'' lift with 33'' tires....yeah it looks cool and he gets a lot of looks tooling around town, but the truck rides, and handles like crap not to mention he has had his issues with whats been done. I think he's regretting it, but has a small fortune of parts spent so far.

My winters are 245/75/16 and they look pretty funny but whatever its not like my truck knows that it looks like it skipped leg day.

It was fine until I replaced my tires with 285/70R17 and was rubbing a little. I replaced it with 1in (2 lift), had the cab mount shaved and a little trimming of the front plastic wheel well. Rides fine to me and i've had the spacers and blocks for almost 2 years now and still rides the same.

FYI I didn't like the 1/1 lift because of the rake. My unsolicited advice is to go 2/1 with 285/70R17 and call it a day.

Thanks man, I was originally gonna go w/6112s and 5160s on 285s but they are back ordered until next year, so entertaining other ideas, I like the idea of only 1'' less stress on components, can run 266/70r17 stealths I had without rubbing, and save some money, mostly a pavement princess these days.
