Well I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but whether you're in D or S Mode the throttle is going to feel the same. Once you hit etc mode the throttle is actually going to be number. I posted an update, sorry for letting you down man!

"I feel like Perf THX is just barely to "performance" for daily commuting, seems like the truck should act this way with ECT on, and more mellow when not in ECT. This tune is making me drive so much more aggressive around town"

Oh I'm working on this buddy... Won't have gear lock though.

Gotta have gear lock haha. I wasn't saying I needed map swapping with ECT. Just trying to convey thoughts on the tune.

Will there be a tune pack for 04b33?
    Any significant changes you’ve found?

Flashed the premium base 04B81, with a few tweaks I found here and did a little test drive about an hour ago. I think I'm still smiling. I don't know why I held off for 3½ years while missing out on this.

Thanks for the info this will help and make things so much faster with editing. I have 315s 5:29gears catless dump tubes, tonneau cover and I also have the speedometer calibration from rough country, it seemed to help a little with the shift points too. And just playing with the shift points and air loads helps a ton for mileage. My daily weight is 5200lbs

Glad to hear it man! Keep me updated on how it learns over the next couple hundred of miles. Yeah after this webinar this weekend, I’m sure we’re all going to be changing a lot more tables up!

Well... so much for holding off on messing with vF until Saturday. Made it like, 4 hours?

With the failed S Mode trifecta attempt, I was able to obtain some good information from @ForceOfG yet again, and came up with another idea for a "performance" tune. This was created off the Mooseditty_Perf+GL_Thx tune, but WITHOUT gear lock this time. While in Drive and S Mode the throttle and shift maps are exactly like the Perf+GL tune. Its a fairly aggressive tune (especially when compared to a standard 2.0 tunes) shift points have been smoothed, and raised from 2.0 levels. The usual.

    rRptpgDnrCp7yWDBx5Y1JCQ_R0vHeOnj7ZhEZjYB_bfa51a61810b179befcef815e9de96979ba1c6ea.jpg

Now when you press the ETC Pwr, Tip in is dramatically increased and shift points are raised even higher yet for and even more Performance oriented tune. This time ETC Pwr, is a "Superformance" map. Kind of like how Toyota originally intended the ETC Pwr to be used.

As always, this is based on 04B04_Reg_Stock_33_Thx.

Airflow tables smoothed, torque during full throttle set to 5K, first gear throttle limits @100, AICS @ 3400, 3rd gear TC slip and full lock removed, throttle limits raised, and acceleration throttle request to airload majorly adjusted, not done linear with Control-I. (personal preference)

Gear Lock is not an option on this tune unfortunately.

You definitely have not let me down at all. You are contributing to our wonderful little community and we are all benefiting from your efforts.

The drive home today in S6 was pretty amazing. I had to keep an eye on the speedo as I found my self going faster with less effort. Strangely, I got nearly 1.5 MPG more than in D on the way out. It was the same drive in 2 directions using D out and S6 on the way back. I noticed that in S mode, the throttle at low speeds was pretty twitchy but less so in D.

I am heading out to Big Bend area tomorrow which is about a 7 hour drive. I feel like this tune will be a good one for heavy trucks on the highway with 70+ speed limits.

Unfortunately, I only have 100 miles on the tune currently which isnt too much when usually 500+ is when they tend to get into a groove.

I noticed you shared another tune which I think I will update to right now and test out on my drive out west tomorrow. The only changes I have done are adding @banjoist13 AGM settings and changing gear ratio to 4.88.

Thanks again for your continued sharing and work and im sure it will just keep getting better and better

    Absolutely!
I'm really digging this last tune. Gear Lock is pretty cool, but for me it's more of a novelty. The tune you're running, I too found to be borderline twitchy. Especially when trying to drive it slowly... LOL! That's kind of what inspired me to make this last one. Something better than the original 2.0 in Drive, and something Uber aggressive and fun with Etc Pwr engaged. I actually really like the ETC Pwr mode on the highway. Just a little blip of the throttle and it down shifts one gear, and accelerates. Give it just a hair more skinny pedal... and it's screaming down the Hwy in 3rd! Takes off from a stop like a bat out of hell too. It was just too tedious for me to try to drive around town as an everyday tune. So I thought to myself, "Self, why not have both?"

Kick ass! Im adding AGM and 4.88 rn and gonna flash shortly. I always thought ETC should be the mode with the balls so you got me really stoked for the long drive tomorrow

It's a lot like a way better factory version... Drive mode is better than regular drive mode. And you definitely know when Etc is on!
