Bed Mat and Go Pro. Toyota made it so good, doesn't need much mods. Don't like getting her dirty!!
Do you love your 2wd Tacoma? Hate seeing it dirty? Keep all four wheels on the pavement at all times? Then this thread is for you. Absolutely every other Thread almost always goes straight to mods and off-roading. I’m looking for like minded people who love their Tacoma as it was designed, appreciate the Japanese engineering and design, and want to get the most out of their Genuine Toyota ride. I’ve got some tips to share, some stories to tell, and would enjoy hearing from like minded people who have stock 2wd with who would like to participate. Let’s get some truck talk, tire talk, detailing. If you’re cutting into the body, adding aftermarket suspension, changing the components, you’ve gone too far! Welcome stockers’!

Mine is a 4x4 but basically never leaves pavement. It's garage kept always, and now a days it rarely even sees the sun. A few months back I did a full detail, wash + wax then seal and shine on the whole truck plus rims, finished her off with some good ol fashioned tire shine. There she sits and I get to look at her everytime I take the garbage out through the garage, she is purdy tho!

I haven't done too many mods, nothing to the suspension at all as I love the stock sport suspension, I have however added a faux pro grill, my dash cam, and clazzio seat covers. Otherwise she is stock, and love to keep her clean!

I had considered a new grill, but haven't pulled the trigger on that. I do have a GoPro hard wired to the GoPro mount (available in '17). GoPro is an okay dash cam, but it does require that you turn it on, so it is not on all the time. In addition, I added a must have bed mat and aluminum valve cap covered. I replace the cabin air filter and engine air filter annually with Denso original equipment. Super tame, but a subtle.
