Your truck has 120k and multiple accidents. How you would value it, and what it would cost to replace it with a better vehicle is not what an insurance company uses to value your vehicle. They are required to make you whole, which means your situation before the covered incident occurred.

Another manual back in the day.... 64 & 1/2 Mustang convertible: Top down and you can fling morning papers to each side of the street without banging your wrist on the roof or u-turning at the end to come back down and hit the other side.

    I dunno, europe? Asia?

There's a whole big world out there besides north america, and that world buys more manual transmission vehicles than automatics.

It's true. There were a few years of civic hybrid and then the CR-Z. I think the Z was the last one. All of Toyota's current hybrids use a CVT however, so I won't be holding my breath.

Im from europe and can confirm its like 70% manuals. Back in the day it was like 95%. When i first saw an AT it was 1987 audi 100, i was 11 years old, i was blown away. It shifts on its own?! Wooow....

I learned to drive on a VW transporter diesel and then later drove my dads 1988 golf on his knees :D My dad was awesome at times.

    Haha! Awesome!

That little guy was dark blue and came with power steering.
Was a good reliable vehicle. Never had issues except for when the exhaust fell off:) My dad was all happy and said it actually added power, so funny!

My dad got someone to bring it over from germany.

My only response to this thread is:

if you can’t drink, eat, text or receive a blowjob while driving a manual... are you missing a limb or handicapped?

If they were more desirable and worth more Toyota would make more.

Now because they are rare, they are worth more to the right buyer, but the right buyer is as rare.

Also, I find MT buyers to be very informed, and they are looking for a great deal, so in the end it is a wash.

My opinion based on 4R, Tacoma and FJ cruiser experience.

An Ipod was a music storing/playing device used way, way back in the pre COVID times.
