We run about 3 times a week for the same guy having seizures behind a 7-11. Been running on him about 2 years now, synthetic is bad.

 

We've got ours here tonight. This motherfucker will get drunk, have a seizure, get tubed, wake up and sign out AMA. Does it all the time.

 

Ours is never aggressive so that’s a plus.

 

We have a 24 hour refill period. Dude calls at and asks if his blood pressure med is filled. Tech says not yet, it'll probably be a few hours. Asks to speak with me. He said he took his last dose yesterday and can feel it wearing off. I tell him refills have a 24 hour refills period but I'll get to it as fast as I can. He didn't like that answer. Wanted to come through for one dose right away. I said no, just wait til it's done. I'll do it as quick as I can. He asks if he goes to the er if he can get a dose. I said they'll probably just send a new rx here. It'll take the same amount of time. Just wait for your refill. This isn't a life or death emergency med anyway. And in the future please don't wait until you're totally out. You can call 2-3 days ahead of time so we don't have this situation.

He tells me that's bullshit and he tried it before and they said insurance said refill too soon. I'm like no that's not true. You don't have to wait til the day of for chronic maintenance med like that. He argues. I'm like dude I fill hundreds of scripts a day I know how it works. He asks for my name and calls me a fucker. Hangs up.

I get his rx ready. Someone comes through and picks it up.

Then I get a call from the ER. Doc is like I have a patient here and he's telling me you said he can't have his medicine for 24 hours? I say well refills are a 24 hour period BUT I said I would do it as fast as I could. And on top of that... It's filled and someone already picked it up for him.

Can't believe he went to the ER. But that's what happens when they dont have to pay for their visits. Just willy nilly waste time and potentially expose or be exposed by the front lines. Blows my mind.

I’ve always been able to call refills in 7 days before running out.

 

I was able to set mine up at the hospital to be automatically refilled. I get a text on my phone every month when it's ready.

Well?...If you notice in the back ground of that pic, there is nothing in that area. I'm starting a 6'x 12' utility trailer project tonight after work. I'll snap a shop cam pic after work as I make progress.

I won't be moving as fast as I usually do, so don't expect huge changes day to day...
