Don’t keep that dirt on there to long .only downside to softopper shit is a bitch to clean off if u leave dirt on the canvas to long .

 

It's not too bad. Scrubing it with a microfiber and the 303 usually takes it off easy

There's so many options. Speed, number of flashes, flashing style etc. Plus it's easy hell to plumb in because we're already tapped into that circuit. Probably a 5 min install.

Does anyone here know if the tape under the side rails is required? Im not sure I want to tape them to my bedside protectors? I think if you install everything else theres no way it'll come off

 

I did not remove backing on tape on my softtopper so I can remove them with out Getting pissed off LOL. It’s holding just fine.

 

It’s not tape it’s a foam material that seals the bed from leeks it doesn’t stick to the truck.

Oh shit. Really? I thought it was a 3m double sided tape type deal. Installed my bestop without removing the backing.

Hi guys, how do you do with dust and water? I have a tonneau and have sealed my tailgate & bed and as such have nearly zero dust and absolutely no water enter the bed.

From my limited research I feel the Bestop would be better suited for my needs but would appreciate your opinions...

 

The only time I get water in the bed is from the pressure washers at the car wash. Dust im not sure of as I dont drive many dirt roads, but overall there are only 2 gaps and they are both on the header rail and could be fixed real easy.

 

Thanks, with your experience of the bestop 2 do you think there’s a way to connect the tailgate crossbar to the top of the tailgate so that it’s not left floating across the back? Or do you not think the un-attaching of the crossmember is a big issue?

The cross bar on the bestop clicks into the side rails, then it has a seal between it and the top of the tailgate. Ive had kids sit on that bar in mine and its very strong.

 

softtoppers definitely LOOK very sick. but bruh folding up those sides aint easy, the supertop 2 has those side windows that just fold up. But i havent seen the ability to roll up the back window, is bestop full retard? why not just add some clips for it?
