I buy 6 cans of fluid film and do it myself. It contains lanolin; what all the australian guys use. They face relatively tough salt conditions when they go out to the coast and drive on the beaches. Their top product is lanolin based

As long as it works. Assuming the bison tabs use the stock bolts. The poly ones use some big ass grade 8 bolts. Don’t know which is better. Not fun to cut a grade 8 bolt out that’s for sure.

That’s the marlin gussets which @norlisk and @tgelata have. Allows you to weld them in technically without dropping the lca. I have to total chaos ones. They are similar to what you did with the weld seem but just beefier material. They don’t brace the frame however.

I just did this for the first time and was able to complete it with 4 cans. First cleaned the whole under body by hand to get out all the Ardbeg junk, let it dry over night and hit it with Fluid Film on a 16C day. Was definitely hoping for a warmer day to help the creep.

I have them. Do yourself a favour and take the LCA’s off. I did it with mine still on working on jack stands and it sucked big time.
It would also be way easier to get tools in for cleaning up the frame and for welding

FYI the yellow zinc plating on generic hardware store-grade 8 bolts aren't as good as Toyota's plating. Douse them in cosmoline or they'll turn into this after 2-3 winters:

Those were 1/2" grade 8 bolts off my previous front bumper.

When I removed the sliders from my previous truck (installed for 3 years), 8 of the 14 bolts snapped off. They were all 1/2" grade 8 yellow zinc plated.

When I moved the sliders to my current truck, I spent $55 at Fastenal for stainless hardware.

My buddy Eric just opened “Mapleview Tire” in Barrie! He’s got +20 years as a GoodYear top rep, with a full service and mobile tire service. Give him a call for any rim & tire needs.
