Yep. There's a $100 fee if you want it sooner than what is convenient for me.

Have you or anyone else worked on a version for 04A61 with 5.29 gears? Or is there a simple-ish change I can make to your file for that?

    Looks like fun!
I have had the worst luck this year trying to get turkey with my bow.

Once this gets Premium octane, might it be the "ultimate tow mode"?

Hey all, I'm sure this has been answered already, but unfortunately I couldn't find the post, so hopefully, you all can straighten me out.

I had a 2017 TRD OR, AT, that I had OVTuned, I now have a 2020 TRD OR AT, which I'd like to do the same but it looks like the old OVTune development has stopped in favor of vForrest/roll your own.

If I didn't want to do my own tuning, just drop a premade tune (like the old OVTune) I'm assuming I'd need both the vForrest Tuner Software + Flash Cable & the Tacoma 3.5 vF Tune Pack.

Is this correct? Or, is there a better way to skin this cat...

    thanks!

You will get the 2.0 tune if you get the tune pack. From there you can make changes as you see fit or just flash it as received. You will see a difference without tweaking.

I towed the boat down to the water to run some stabilizer through it. Personally, I think 1-3 is a little too touchy on the throttle for towing. Tip in is aggressive.

Does any one know if the only difference between the stock tire size, 33", and 35" tunes files is only changed at "DriveTrain Control - Tire Size" or is there more to it to change the tire size in the tune?

    Thanks!

If you have the tunes and access to view them, open both up and compare them. You should see the differences then. Some are hard to notice but others stand out.

Just to reiterate, I can run a regular octane tune while I have 91 octane in the tank right, just not the other way around?

    Correct.

Technically, you can do it the other way around, but you won't get much benefit. Advised against doing that

Just found out what happens when you don't shut the truck completely off after flashing a tune. For those wondering, it won't start. Somebody's gotta test it, right? Even if by accident, lol.

Agreed. That one seems pretty solid so far. Only put a few miles on it but much more tame. Haven't got to try out the beast mode yet (ECT). But will shorty. I'll probably leave that version on for my 400 mile road trip tomorrow.
