Check the distance, the Porsche is going twice as far lol

Edit, dont I have mud on my face. That's a good question, but I'd assume you give up a little on the 1st half set up for a half mile so you dont run out of steam later.

Out of my realm bud I just love go fast videos

    It's 4 years later. Anybody have a 1/4 mile timeslip for a Magunson supercharged 3rd gen 3.5L V6? My old 2016 bone stock went 16.01 @ 91 MPH. My 2024 4th gen bone stock went 15.84 @ 87 MPH.

It's worth mentioning that numbers for our platform tell a small percentage of the full story. While I am 100% a slip/ numbers guy for like 90% of the car world, the 3rd Gen falls into the 10% where numbers don't really matter. Let's be completely honest here, super charged gained numbers for our platform are abysmal in comparison to nearly all the rest of the forced induction world. I also believe you shouldn't put the 3rd gen under the same category or use the same comparison as you would for other platforms. In the case of the 3rd gen the super charger is less about the numbers, more about how the drivability is improved and the fun factor of driving it. Thats it. If every time you hit the gas it puts a smile on your face then it's worth every penny. Don't matter if it has 12hrspr or 1200hrspr. Shit I have a moped with 1.5 hrspr that I can't drive without a smile on my face. Essentially, for our platform just throw the numbers away and focus on how much more fun it is to drive.

I consider myself a mild car guy. I like cars because how they make me feel when I drive, not hrspr numbers or a price tag. I have the most fun with some of the cheapest cars. I'm currently rocking a clean, one owner 98 C230 that i picked up for 2 grand. I love driving it.

My guess is the stock engine management/fuel system design and cylinder head layout is a stumbling block to real power with these 3.5s. I'd like to see the cfm numbers from a flow bench for both intake and exhaust ports. I'm guessing the exhaust port layout is a cork in the system, along with how the fuel system operates. But for sure, I can see that it would make drivability much more fun and useful even though it's not putting out big numbers.
