I still hiked my 40lb of chit up to 11k feet and sat there all day without trouble.

 

despite being fat I was in the best shape i've ever been for hunting cardio/strength wise this year. Made it through the week without any soreness too which was fawsome

been jogging a lot. Jogged for 40+ continuous minutes yesterday

 

glad that y'all made it safe and sound. hope ty and jaxon can make it without any more trouble too.

fuck that noise. seems like a pathetic excuse to just screw you guys, ill bet the c suite is getting bonuses. what industry are you in? The market is not doing poorly enough to warrant a hold on raises and bonuses for over a year IMO. In construction we've been signing contracts left and right, hiring up a storm. There was a 3 month freeze on raises/bonuses but this industry is doing just fine where im at.

 

I'm an android app developer for a sports media company. my buddy keeps asking when I'm ready to jump ship and join him at Twitter and another for a big financial group and I keep telling them not yet. I really do like my job and my team is great. But the compensation is pretty lacking especially with that news.


What do you do in construction? my contractor and fabricator buddies are all busier than ever right now

 

you must really love your job. Im sure you could find another job immediately, and just walk in and threaten to leave. Maybe get something out of them, especially if they want you to take on more responsibility.

I do IT for a group of residential/commercial construction companies. We have GCs and Subs under this umbrella
