im glad it doesn’t have ear buds. I have never liked the Apple headphones at all. I usually give them away to someone I know.

Trying to be “eco” friendly. I think it’s a move to force you to buy air pods or ear buds. No block either.

 

all my iPhone has been black/slate and I’m kinda wanting something different.

I don’t mind stuff in my ears, the Apple ear buds just don’t fit my ears at all. I have always gone with Sony, skull candy, or beats for in ear or over ear headphones.

mom not really sure what the deal is. I think it to help make the box smaller and reduce E waste. But most people have the USB-A block and not the USB-C they are using now.

Thought they changed the block every couple of generations? I've been an Apple fan for a long time but this is aggravating.

 

It’s not. More like a we are giving you less for same or higher price kind of thing. IMO.

 

Pretty much everyone I know has for years used wired( before wireless ear buds where easy to get) or wireless 3rd party headphones or ear buds. In the Release event they talked about people using 3rd party.


I have a beanie I wear in the winter that has Bluetooth headphones in it that i use a lot.


Soooo many 3rd party stuff on the market that I think it’s a good thing they stopped coming with the phones. Let people get the air pods if they want or get something 3rd party.

 

same! I think I have had 4 iPhones already.
I think it’s more aggravating because so many don’t have the USB-C block. I have like 4 USB-A block. I think they may have done it because they think most people will get wireless charging pads(or already have them)

so while I agree it is aggravating, it’s not a deal breaker for me.

 

Yeah. I’m not sure what color I’d get. Kinda why I didn’t order one today...
